With each passing week, ICAHN continues to move closer to a major milestone with the construction of its new office building and headquarters. Located at 1945 Van's Way in Princeton, IL, the new 6,500 square foot office building will house 16 private offices, flex and collaborative work spaces, and a large training room with state-of-the-art audio/visual and video conferencing capabilities.
In the past week, windows were installed and the roofing, soffit, and fascia were completed. Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing rough-ins are currently underway and exterior brick work will begin later this week. The building includes an interior storm shelter, and will have a natural gas powered generator for backup power. The new facility will be highly energy efficient, with high efficiency HVAC equipment and LED lighting throughout. Financing has been completed through USDA Rural Development and the project remains on schedule with a planned move in date of mid-September.
