The 2017 Cybersecurity Conference: Defending Your Hospital Against Threats will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Illinois Education Association, 3440 Liberty Drive, Springfield, IL. Target audience is CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, Risk Managers, IT leadership in critical access and small and rural hospitals, hospital systems, rural health clinics, and other interested healthcare providers.
FBI Special Agent Michael Maguire and FBI Special Agent Chris Anglin will offer a threat overview, focusing on the nature of intruders, the targeting of victims, and schemes and attack techniques. They will also offer a session on cybersecurity defenses and incident response, focusing on user level actions, enterprise level actions, and working with law enforcement, security firms, and industry partners. Ryan Morgan, ICAHN Chief Information Strategy Officer, and Ryan Sierman, ICAHN Chief Information Officer, will offer information on "What You Should Know to Protect Yourself and Your Hospital." There will also be information on cyber liability and cyber insurance.
