Board Governance: A Legal Overview

ICAHN and Barbara A. Weiner will present a webinar, "Board Governance: A Legal Overview" on Wednesday, May 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. This program is designed to give your Board an overview of their legal duties and responsibilities in serving as a director/trustee. Barbara A. Weiner, J.D., has practiced law for more than 30 years. She specializes in representing healthcare providers and not-for-profit community agencies. In 1999, she was the president of the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys. Barbara frequently consults with Boards about their duties and responsibilities. She offers a Legal Consultation Program to critical access hospitals and community agencies. For an annual fee of $2,000, those critical access hospitals interested can have unlimited telephone and email access to her on the broad range of legal issues impacting your organization, including HR issues.

There is no charge for organizations that are members of Barbara Weiner's Legal Consultation Program. Otherwise, the fee is $200 per facility. There is no limit to how many participants may attend from each facility.
